George Pep’s on the Front Page of The Patriot Ledger

George Pep's Baseball Cards & More Patriot Ledger

Honored to see George Pep's Baseball Cards & More on the front page of the The Patriot Ledger! Great feature on our new store and the current sports card craze that is sweeping the nation.

From the article:

(Customer) Jared Tucker said he's held on to his collection throughout the years and looks to Pepdjonovic's shop for graded and vintage cards. He said he scored a 1969 card featuring former New York Yankees Hall of Famer Mickey Mantle at the shop, and got a great price for it.

Since Pepdjonovic has been buying and selling cards his whole life, he's seen how certain players and cards can fluctuate in price and popularity.

In 1990, a box of Topps baseball cards would cost around $10 a box. Pepdjonovic said a box now costs $150 on the low end. The most popular cards he sells to young kids these days are basketball or football cards.

"A lot of people would walk in the store and just say 'Wow I haven't seen one of these in so many years,'" Pepdjonovic said. "People come in from everywhere, 50 to 60 miles away just to look at the store. It's kind of crazy."

Thanks to everyone for their support! You can read the entire article here.
